OUR UNIQUE SOLE
Barefoot shoes have a particularly thin and flexible sole without a footbed, heel or drop and are cut wide in the forefoot area to follow the natural shape of the foot. With leguano's own sole, the special arrangement of the hemispheres means that they do not block each other when the shape of the sole changes. This property allows the sole to move 360° flexibly in any direction and adapts perfectly to any surface. This results in a larger contact surface on the ground and thus leads to more ground feel and grip.

WHAT ARE BAREFOOT SHOES?
Barefoot shoes are designed to be as close as possible to the feeling of walking barefoot. They are very light, have no drop (no heel), the sole is a few millimeters thin and very flexible. This allows the feet to feel the ground again and compensate for unevenness. This almost direct contact with the ground not only provides important information for the sense of balance, but also improves the blood circulation in the feet and (re)builds the foot muscles. Healthy, strong foot muscles influence the entire musculoskeletal system.
Barefoot shoes are available for women, men and children; they enclose the feet like a protective shell. This prevents injuries from sharp objects. A barefoot shoe offers as much protection as necessary, as little shoe as possible and is therefore also known as a minimal shoe. The foot is given enough space to be able to perform natural movements.
